It is the most commonly used secondary plasticizer in PVC compounds for various applications like Cable compounds, Garden Pipes, tubings, Sleevings, Suction pipes, braided hoses, leather cloth, conveyer belts etc. These are also used in other applications like metal working, coatings and lacquers etc. Its property of insolubility in water, extremely low volatiliy & resistance to corrosion makes it an excellent plasticizer for paint resins, varnishes, as sealants and mastics for use in building, automotive & industrial applications.
